1. 21st Century Education
An education where the student has learned how to gather and assemble information independently, effectively use technology, and synthesize the gathered information to solve a problem or produce a product.
2. FOSS
An acronym for Free and Open Source Software. In general, open source refers to any program whose source code is made available for use or modification as users or other developers see fit. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FOSS
3. GUI
A way of communicating with the computer by manipulating icons (pictures) and windows with a mouse as opposed to a command line (text only) interface.
